Viktor Air Purifier - Black
Well the unit showed up with the filter door hinge broken(glued that). The safety switch does not work. Typical chinese lack of quality control. The base rocks as not flat and don't see any way to make it flat without hurting something else. The Owners manual is horrible and describes nothing. Their are l.e.d lights and says nothing as to what some of them mean(HPP filter light)?
The instructions on cleaning the cell are insane nothing but drawings maybe four on the side of the cell(nothing in the manual) telling me something can't even follow? one shows a 12hr waiting period??
Right that makes sense...heard of a hair dryer? Used that for all elctrostatic cells for years and workes perfect to dry them fast.
So basically a ton of hype on this, yes it does work and smells really clean on the output with nothing getting out on the grill like dust or hair etc. the 5 speeds are really lound except low so leave it there unless away and want it to go into high gear. It says...
Is very energy efficient, cost is a little high but it does work well
This air purifier has 5 different power levels. The lowest level is so quiet that a baby could easily sleep right beside it. The second level is considerably louder but not too loud that it would become a nuisance. Level 3 or borderline and level 4 is loud enough to become annoying and may interfere with your ability to listen to other things radio or TV. I don't know how anyone could tolerate level 5 for very long at all.
The top of the unit has a power button, timer button and bright blue LED lights that do a good job of temporarily blinding you when you try to look at the buttons. There is also a dimmer button so you can dim the bright lights as needed. I wish there was a way to turn off the LED lights but you can't. I use this in my bedroom at night and it lights up much of our bedroom even after hitting the dimmer button.
It has a built in timer so you can set it to run for 2, 4 or 8 hours or you can let it run constantly like I do. It consumes very low...
Complete garbage!
I was excited to try this air purifier because the design and form-factor looked appealing, especially for my modern flat. However, upon receiving and unboxing it, I immediately took note of what a very cheap built quality it is. The plastic housing of this unit seems lower quality than some items I find in a dollar store.
Further, I was never able to get the unit I received to work because the front cover would not stay in and the unit does not function unless that is in securely. As much as I tried to push the front cover in so that the air purifier would run, the cover would just pop back out again. I even tried removing both filters and the middle cleaner unit and re-seating them hoping that perhaps one of those was not aligned correctly, to no avail. The front cover just will not stay closed.
Very poor design! I cannot recommend this air purifier at all and would suggest you look to another brand if you are looking for something that actually works.
