My friend had one and I borrowed it and was like holy cow this is light and picks up stuff good. I loved it so much my husband bought me it for my last birthday last August at Walmart. Best of all my kids like to use it because its not heavy. So it got them to do some chores as well. Sometimes they even fight over who gets to vacuum. Never had that before I got this one.

Amazing suction. I was worried that because it is so reasonably priced, it wouldn't be the best. But so far...it's amazing.

I never thought my 45 lb. shepherd mix would shed sooo much...I had a Bissell prior to the Shark, and it simply could not compete with the dog hair. First of all... after finishing one room, the amount of dog hair that it sucked up made my stomach turn because it was clear that my Bissell was leaving a lot of hair behind. I've had the vacuum for about a month and it is awesome. We've been dogsitting a 100 lb lab that sheds like mad, and this vacuum has gotten everything..even my husband voluntarily tested it out and was amazed! It is very lightweight and the canister is super easy to empty, without causing a mess. The canister doesn't have much capacity, but I'm sure that is what keeps it lightweight. The surface area of the vacuum is small than other vacuums, but it is still faster to use because you only have to go over an area once. The attachments work great too. Even if this vacuum dies in a month, it was worth it and I'll simply go get another one.
